KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY began on June 10, 2012 as part of the KUNG FU TAI CHI 20 YEARS, a celebration of two decades of Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine. In cooperation with the City of San Jose and Kung Fu Tai Chi’s parent company, Tiger Claw, KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY started as a free public street fair in the Plaza de Cesar Chavez in the heart of downtown San Jose. There were ongoing demonstrations from noted grandmasters, masters and local schools, as well as introductory workshops in basic Kung Fu, Wushu, Tai Chi and Qigong. The 2nd Annual KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY expanded. Along with the ongoing demonstrations and workshops, Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine organized a Group Tai Chi demonstration of the Simplified 24 Tai Chi routine which included several hundred participants. KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY was held again in 2014 and 2015 with great success.
KUNG FU TAI CHI DAY 2016 is scheduled for May 22, 2016. Mark your calendars now!
